I LOVE this app when it works; love the different translations; love the different voices; love how easy it is to use and to search something, but hate the crashes! There are many days where I cant use it at all because it wont open. I think this has just been with the last IOS update.

Been using Bible Gateway app for a few years and used the website before that. Always been my favorite. Easy to read. Easy to find texts. Easy to share. Thank you.

I love this app but it crashes my phone a lot!!! I have an iPhone 6s Plus and it always freezes n doesnt let me move on from the first screen. Sad loss

Crashes too frequently. How can I share Resources thru whatsapp? App a bit restrictive, cant copy & paste. Pl do something.

I downloaded the most recent update and now I cannot open the ap at all. I am very upset as I use this ap a lot.

This is a great app. All of the updates that have already taken place has made this app better than what it was before. One update Id like to suggest is to make the border at the top where the verses are a little shorter. It is a little to wide which sometimes makes it hard to write your thoughts because the previous section has gone above the border. Its not so bad when you start the notes, but if you save them and go back into it, the border is really wide and the keyboard is really close which only gives you a little space to see your notes or type them for that matter. Not sure of what Im referring too, please let me know.

I like all the versions but the constant crashing prevents me from using it in church. :-(

Thinking about the way I study the bible, I often flip back and forth among a list of scriptures a few times during a sitting. Itd be time-saving if the most recent list of scriptures visited would be in a single pull down (whose depth I could set). Thanks for this great app and the myriad versions.

I have used this app for 4 years. It has not kept up with technology well. I have 2 issues. First - on iPad pro your app crashes EVERY 3 to 4 minutes, without fail. The same version on my iPad Air does not crash, but stays up and active always. Second - Look up/search is useless. You have to use the exact words and have the correct version selected for those words. It is too labor intensive in these days of technology ease. I can google a rough guess of the scripture and get pages of the exact scripture, in every version. My point - I would rather use a Christian app. Please update. Our technology is rapidly changing and becomes stale rather quickly. I hate using this app right now, but look forward to it catching up.

Its been updated and now I cant use the app. It wont open. It starts to, (title page) then it closes out. Ive had no problems with this app until now. Please fix. Ive already deleted and re-installed several times but to no avail.

Lots of bugs. My search option barely works. App closes on me from time to time. Updated to the latest version and still no help.

Bible Gateway has become my favorite Bible app. I enjoy the simplicity of how it highlights. I enjoy their expanded audio versions. LOVE that I can read parallel versions side by side to compare!! My only disappointments are that I wish it offered even larger font options. Even the XXX-Large font size is hard for me to read in low light if my glasses arent handy. Also, I wish that the the Bible reading plans synced; its like reading from two separate Bibles which means that my highlights dont sync. All that being said. Bible Gateway is still my favorite go to over the previous Bible app I had been using.

So sad! This used to be my favorite Bible app, but now Im finding it hard to focus on The Word among all the ads. Im seeking a new fav Bible app.

I like this app for the selection of translations available and the option to compare two translations at once. The Search function, however, needs improvement. If you want to limit search to a portion of the Bible, you cant do that after entering search for the entire Bible. You have to start all over again. In fact, it appears you cant make any modifications in search without starting all over and making changes in order.

If someone can fix this issue ASAP - this bible is a great tool for studying the bible The link for daily verse needs to be fixed - it does not bring you to the passage thats listed

It doesnt open. Im not sure if this is a problem with the app or on my half.

Have used the Biblegateway app since I had my iPhone 3GS. Suddenly the app is bombarded with advertising that interrupts using the bible during church services. If youre going to add advertising at least give us a version that we can buy to get rid of the ads please.

This app is my go-to Bible for every day carry, reference, and research. When it works, it works great! * * * * When I run out of high speed data - which is often - and only have 2G data, IT WILL NOT OPEN. Completely unusable. Why?!? Argh! PLEASE fix this. Update 3/16: Deleted and reinstalled. Now it wont open AT ALL. Four stars if it gets fixed. Update 4/4: Got it working again - until my data ran out. I suppose this app only caters to rich people...
